Celebrating food through playful design, colourful compositions, and engaging visual details.
While studying graphic design, I was tasked with creating a recipe book that paired two elements together. Considering my cooking skills, limited time, and budget, I developed a simple yet visually engaging concept centred on vegetables and eggs. Designed for foodies and health-conscious readers, the book combines adventurous recipes with a playful visual style, which helped guide the overall design direction.

I created a layout that was both eye-catching and easy to navigate, using clear typography, defined sections, and a vibrant colour palette inspired by the freshness of the featured ingredients. Since I was required to produce my own photography, I used Photoshop to isolate the recipes on plain backgrounds, creating fun, repetitive visuals that supported the book’s simple and adventurous theme. Pixel-style illustrations were added throughout to complement the bold typography and bring additional personality to the design.
